Its that time for week again where we try to prognosticate the games which are imminent. The feature game here at FreePicksUSA.com has been very good for us and the readers which happen to catch it every week. These picks are 6-1 of the last seven posted dating back to the first week in November. Going to try to make it 7-1 with this pick, New England vs Buffalo.

Inter-division rivals square off for this week 16 matchup. New England needs a win badly coming off two straight losses. Buffalo is feeling pretty good about themselves just having beat Detroit 17-16. Rookie QB Josh Allen threw for 201 yards and a TD in the 14-13 win.

Many folks are looking for New England to regroup like they always have and come back to Foxboro, where they play great football, and lay the wood on the Bills. The spread has NE favored by 13 points. At this time about 61% of the public tickets are on NE as well as about 80% of the money. This isn't a full on ATS play but you can see the public is expecting the blow out for the most part. Let's get into some numbers:

NE is 9-5 straight up and 5-9 against the spread. They average 26 PPG on offense and allow 22 PPG. Brady passes for 278 ypg and the team rushes for 116.

Buffalo's offense is a different animal. They pass for just 186 YPG and rush for 187. They are a rushing team and a lot of that comes from the legs of Josh Allen. He has 506 yards rushing and 6 TD's. Buffalo is a different team with him at the helm. They are 5-6 when he is the QB. They are 0-3 without him (injuries).

Buffalo is 3-4 against the spread on the road. New England is an amazing 5-1 ATS at home. The Patriots play very well at home. Everyone knows it.

In this article we are going to get away from trends of past meetings. This is an unprecedented time for NE. Brady and company rarely have back to back losses. But this season they have done it twice. They are 39-13 after a single loss under Tom Brady.

Here is another great stat:
If you cannot tell by now we are taking Buffalo plus the 13. There is a very good chance Brady and company will come out and score fast and try to put the foot on the snake's head. But this snake is a little too slippery and will get out from the grasp of the Pats. Look for Buffalo to put up some numbers rushing and keep this game close.
