The Final Four games are just four days away and we are looking at the public betting trends to see who they like. It is never too early to see which way it is trending.

Our rules for picking an actual ATP (against the public) play is that it must be within 48 hours of the event. We look at both cash and total tickets on a side (and sometimes total) to decide if a play is a true ATP play. So far this basketball tournament season we have isolated three plays that fit the bill, and they went 3-0

As of right now in the first game there seems to be some lopsidedness to the cash that is on Michigan -6.5. That may very well have been what has caused the line to move from the originally posted -5. The total tickets are only 58% on Michigan however. The OVER is of interest in that 80% of the money is on it and 70% of the tickets (totals don't seem to fare as well as straight bets with ATP).

In the second game, Villanova vs. Kansas is very nearly approaching full ATP status. They have 67% of the tickets and 67% of the money on Kansas (which would make Villanova the play). We like it to be a full 70% to be ATP quality. There is still a lot of time left to go before the actual games. I would say that Villanova has the best chance at being an ATP play in the Final Four. We will post the final report over at the main website www.sportsbookadvisor.com on Thursday.
