30 year old Jadeveon Clowney has just signed a one year deal with the Baltimore Ravens. He spent last year in Cleveland, a main rival for his new team.
Clowney registered just 2.0 sacks last year with the Cleveland Browns. This is because he missed five games and was plagued by injuries the entire season.
Clowney was the first overall pick in 2014 out of the University of Michigan. He is a three-time Pro Bowler who is entering his 10th season. His career has been somewhat lackluster considering being the number one overall draft pick. The Baltimore Ravens will be his 5th team in 10 years.
Baltimore has seen a trend of brining in aging veterans and giving them a shot. Last season, Baltimore brought in Jason Pierre-Paul and put him to work for the team. The Ravens have been known for their stout defense for much of the last two decades. Clowney will have to figure out how he fits into the scheme.
