Philadelphia continues to build upon its success as the Sixers lead the NBA Eastern Conference after a huge win on Wednesday night over the Lakers. Tobias Harris nailed a late jumper as the Sixers beat LeBron James and company 107-106 at home.

Now, the Sixers head to the road where they will face Minnesota on Friday before heading to Indianapolis to take on the Pacers on Sunday night. The Pacers are no slouch themselves having won three of their last four games. Indiana is 11-7 and just 1.5 games behind Philadelphia in the Eastern Conference standings.

First Meeting This Season

This will be the first meeting between the two teams this season. Indiana swept all three games from the 76ers last season winning two games at Bankers Life Fieldhouse and the third in the bubble in Orlando.

Indiana has been red-hot averaging 116.8 points per game in their last four. Domantas Sabonis has been an absolute beast. In the Pacers last game, a win over Charlotte on Wednesday night, Sabonis recorded a triple-double with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.

Doug McDermott, who averages 13.1 points per game, scored a team-best 28 in the win over the Hornets. Sabonis and McDermott are two of seven Pacers that average in double figures. Point guard Malcolm Brogdon leads Indiana with a 22.8 points per game average.

Better on Paper?

As good as they are, the Pacers are just 6-5 at home and have only covered in five of those 11 home games. Philadelphia is equally suspect when playing on the road. The Sixers have the league's best home record at 10-1 and they are 8-3 ATS at home.

On the road, it's a different story. Philadelphia is just 2-5-1 ATS when playing on the road. With both teams' difficulties covering the spread, bettors should look to play the total. Specifically, bettors should lean toward the Over.

The Over is 5-1 in Indiana's last six games. That includes the Pacers last two games in which the totals were 219 and 221.5.

It's a similar story with the Sixers. The cappers over at ActionSportsPicks.com know that the Over is 4-1 in the last five games and 6-2 in the last eight. That stretch includes consecutive Overs against Boston with totals of 220.5 and 221.

Both the Pacers and Sixers average nearly 114 points per game. In their last meeting last season in the bubble, the final score was 127-121. The Sixers are led by Joel Embiid's 27.7 points per game. Harris averages over 20 and three more Sixers score in double figures.

In last year's games, the totals were 220, 215, and 212.5. Sunday's total should be no higher than 220. With two of the most efficient offensive teams in the NBA squaring off on Sunday, bettors should play the Over all the way up to 220.

NBA Free Pick: OVER up to 220
