Its that time of the week again. Time for SBA to post their exclusive FPUSA free pick of the week. This pick has become quite popular for the readers and they have been asking when we will post it again. So, here we go.

This game is a strange one because we have little data on the Redskins' newstarting QB Mark Sanchez... well, from recent years anyway. At one time, Sanchez was touted to be the next franchise QB of the NY Jets. But then there was the "butt fumble" and some injuries and a string of losses. After a breakout year in 2010, leading the Jets to a 11-5 record, the sky was the limit, so it seemed. But Sanchez would go on to post a record of 18-23 after that and was let go by the Jets. He served as the Dallas back up one year.

Here we are in 2018 and he is starting for the injured Alex Smith and Colt McCoy. This is Sanchez's come back chance. Will he be able to play well and redeem himself? This weekend will give us the answers we need.

The NY Giants come in with a 4-8 record straight up. They are 6-5-1 ATS. They have won three of their last four games and Eli Manning himself said that he thinks they are playing as well as they have all season and that they can beat anyone.

The Redskins are on a three game skid and got beat by the Eagles pretty badly on Monday Night Football. They are 6-6 overall and 7-5 ATS. The Redskins defense is still pretty good and is intact. They should be able to keep a lid on the NYG rushing attack as the Giants average only 95 yards rushing per game. They key for them will be to rattle QB Eli Manning.

The Giants are favored by four points (-4) at Washington. 60% of the public is taking NY at this point in the week.

The wild card factor is Mark Sanchez. Will he be able to muster up a decent game?

Washington is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games at home.
Washington is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games when playing NY Giants.
Washington is 4-2 SU in its last 6 games when playing NY Giants.

I can see NY playing well enough to win this game. But can they win by 4 points?? My instinct is that they cannot. Look for Sanchez to put together some surprising drives and keep this thing really tight. Take the Redskins plus the four points at home.
