Saturday has a full slate of basketball on the board. One early game that is of importance is Texas at Oklahoma. Oklahoma is favored at home -6.5 points. The total is 154 points.

Oklahoma is a decent team and is currently ranked 23rd in the nation. They are 16-9 straight up and just 9-16 against the spread. They are one of the highest scoring teams in the country, currently putting up 88 points per game. The problem is they allow 82 PPG. Oklahoma is currently on a three game losing streak.

Texas is 15-11 SU and 12-11 ATS. They score 72 and allow 67 PPG. They are on a four game losing streak.

The good news for the these two teams is that someone has to win. Both teams need a win badly.

Head to head Oklahoma has the slight advantage goin 6-4 in their last ten matchups. They just played two weeks ago and Texas won at home 79-74. Texas was favored by 3 points in that game and got the win and cover.

The Sooners have Trae Young. He leads the nation in scoring. But he has been pretty bad as of late. In the last four game he has shot just 7-41 from three point range.

Oklahoma is just 2-4 ATS in its last 6 games when playing Texas. I think this will be a close game and whichever team is getting the points here gets my bet. So, in this case I like Texas +6.5
