Jan 5th Fiesta Bowl Ohio St vs. Texas

These two teams have a recent history against each other as Vince Young went into the Shoe and won a huge game with a late TD drive the year the Longhorns won the National Championship. The next season in McCoy's freshman year the Buckeye defense dominated McCoy and the Longhorns in Austin. It's obvious the better offense comes from Texas, but what may not be so obvious is who has the better defense. I would argue that there is a pretty good chance those units are about even. The Big 10 has been awful during the bowl season with one win coming from Iowa over South Carolina. The Big 12 has been a bit better with a 3-2 record. Clearly Ohio St. and Penn St. were the class of the Big 10 and at the very least Penn St. showed a lot of heart against USC in the second half. I won't give anymore information on this game because it is one of my favorites of the bowl year so check back with me Monday morning as I will have a FIVE STAR selection on this game!

Jan 6th GMAC Bowl Ball St vs. Tulsa

There is no doubt that this game has shootout written all over it. Two QB's who have huge numbers this year, but I know that Davis is the better passer, especially downfield. The key here is who will run the ball better and I would have to lean toward Tulsa, but I do feel that Ball St. will put more pressure on Johnson than the GH will put on Davis. Ball St. can definitely win this game as there offense can be similar to that of Houston and the Cougars put a massive beatdown on Tulsa earlier this year. Tulsa was so impressive last year in their bowl game that I am going to lean with them to win this game 45-34!

Jan 8th BCS Championship Florida vs Oklahoma

I was hoping these two teams would play in the Championship and now I really feel we will get the kind of Championship game that we had when Texas beat USC. As for all the Longhorn fans get over yourself the best team is in this game. Last time I checked there was a 3 way tie at the top and you all went 1-1 and no way in HELL should Oklahoma be penalized for playing there worst game of the season against Texas. They proved the other 12 weeks they are one of the 2 best if not the best team in the country. If you have a problem figuring that out then check how well they played at Oklahoma St and how they crushed top 10 BCS teams like Texas Tech and TCU. If that doesn't make you feel any better then start a blog site with New England Patriot fans. Florida is a great team with a leader but they have the second best future pro quarterback in this game. That never means anything in college though so expect Florida to score a lot points and be in this game all the way. Florida has the better defense, but Oklahoma has the better offense. Special Teams could be the difference in this game and there is no doubt that Florida has the edge there. Brandon James is a great return man and Oklahoma has been burned all year by big returns. I am staying away from this game because I really believe it's a toss up and I will lean toward Oklahoma just slightly because there getting the points. Final Score Oklahoma 38-35!
